Players have been challenged to win using an AWM sniper rifle in normal/classic match and post a screenshot of it on Twitter with the hashtags #pubgmobileawm and #pubgmobilechallenge
PUBG Mobile has announced a new challenge for players, which is aptly called the PUBG Mobile Challenge. The challenge itself is quite simple and straightforward. All players have to do is win using an AWM sniper rifle in a normal/classic match and take a screenshot. The screenshot needs to show their win using the AWM and it has to be posted on Twitter with the hashtags #pubgmobileawm and #pubgmobilechallenge. The winners will receive PUBG merchandise. Do note that the challenge ends on November 22.
It is not yet known what merchandise players will win, but the announcement tweet does feature an image that shows dog tags, so it’s safe to assume that could be one of the prizes distributed to winners.
PUBG Mobile recently announced that the global finale of its PUBG Mobile Star Challenge will be held in Dubai. The event will take place from November 29 to December 1 at the festival Arena in Dubai. The event offers a total prize pool of $600,000 (approx. Rs 4,35,75,000) and allows players to participate in squads of four. However, the event is not open to all and is limited to players who have a fan following of at least 1,000 people on platforms such as YouTube Gaming, Twitch, Facebook Live, Smashcast TV, Mixer, and others. At least one player in the squad needs to have 1000 followers.
Calling PUBG Mobile popular would be an understatement to say the least. The game surpassed 100 million downloads back in August and has been nominated for the 2018 ‘Fan Favourite Game Award’ on the Google Play Store. Google has added ‘Fan Favorite’ categories to its annual Google Play awards this year and is asking users to vote for their favourite app and game of 2018.
